On March 1, 2024, FDK CORPORATION acquired the Company's equity interest from Santoku Corporation and changed the company name to BAOTOU FDK CO., LTD.

Since its establishment in 2001, the company has been committed to the manufacturing of alloy materials (magnetic alloy and hydrogen storage alloy, etc.) with rare earth metals as the main raw materials. The alloy materials with high quality and durability produced by unique processes have been widely praised by customers. By joining FDK CORPORATION, the company will be able to further differentiate itself from its competitors and gain a stronger global market share by integrating its hydrogen storage alloy development and manufacturing capabilities with FDK's development capabilities and sales network of Ni-MH battery.
